Shree Shree Saraswati Puja 2025 Schedule
Saturday, February 1, 2025:
Saraswati Puja Adhibas, Ganesh Chaturthi Puja, and Sandhya Aarati: 7:00-8:30 pm,
Prasadam: 9:00 pm.
Sunday, February 2, 2025 (Day-long Puja schedule):
1. Puja starts: 10:00 AM
2. 1st Pushpanjali: 12:00 PM
3. Puja, Pushpanjali, Aarati and Bhog Offerings: 12:00PM -1:00PM
4. Vidyarambha Puja and Haate Khari: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM (All items for Haate Khari will be provided by the Temple)
5. Prasadam (Noon): 2:00 PM
6. Sandhya Aarati, Prayer and Pushpanjali: 5:30 PM - 6:00 PM
7. Cultural Program: 6 PM
8. Prasadam (Evening): 10:00 PM
In addition to Saraswati Puja rituals there will be following Children activities as well on Sunday:
Art Competition: 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Group A (Grade JK-1): Topic - My favorite animal or bird
Group B (Grade 2-4): Topic: Saraswati puja
Grade C (Grade 5-8): Topic: Your Dream Career
Grade D (Grade 9-12): Topic: Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (The world is one family)
Note: Only paper for art will be provided from the temple, Kids have to bring their own pencils, eraser, sharpers, colours etc.
Poem Competition: 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Group A (JK to Grade 4): হাট (কুমোর পাড়ার গরুর গাড়ি) – রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুর
Group B (Grade 5-8): নিমন্ত্রণ - জসীমউদ্দীন (First 3 paragraphs)
Group C (Grade 9-12): মানুষ জাতি - সত্যেন্দ্রনাথ দত্ত
Show and Tell Contest : 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Participants have to speak 3 minutes on a picture that will be shown to them on spot. Group A (Grade 1-4) : Topic will be given on the spot
Group B (Grade 5-8) : Topic will be given on the spot
Group C (Grade 9-12) : Topic will be given on the spot
For competitions (Art, Poem, Show and Tell) you can register on the spot but attend at least 15 minutes before the competition. Certificates and prizes will be distributed.
Parents who are interested to do Hate-Khari (হাতে-খরি) of their kids, please register the Name - Gotra ("নাম - গোত্র") of the child by sending an email to info@hindumondir.org with the subject "Haate Khari of Name of the child". We will arrange special puja for them.
