PITRI TARPAN: Pitri Tarpan is a yearly ceremony of offering prayer and respect to the departed souls of SAGES & ANCESTORS by water & sesame. It is the most important Hindu rituals which need to be performed in Amabassya period (15 days), just before SHARADIYA DURGA Puja. It is said and believed that our ancestral soul came back to visit their beloved homes and expect water from their family members.
