DOOL YATRA, & GOUR PURNIMA: Dool Yatra is the popular holy festival and is observed on the full moon day in Falgun month. The festival also known as Bhasant Utsob as its …… the arrival at the spring season. The popular belief is that Lord Krishna expressed his love for Radha on this day. On the eve of the festival, woods are collected and burned in significance of the legend of PRAHLAD escaping unhurt from the fire into which he was carried by Demon Holuka.  Puja to Lord Krishna is the main activities of this day and festival of colors to make happiness and equalness of God and his creation.
