SHIVA RATRI: Maha Shiva Ratri is a major Hindu festival celebrated every year in  ……… to Lord Shiva. It is the day Shiva was married to Parvati. It makes the convergence of Shiva and Shakti. To celebrate this day, the devotees do fasting according to Krishna Paksha Chaturdoshi (14th day) and completely surrender to Lord Shiva. The young unmarried desires a husband like Lord Shiva and do the puja with utmost devotion. Puja normally held at night as the festival known as Shiva Ratri(Night).
