CHAITRA SANKRANTI: Chaitra Sankranti is celebrated in the month of Chaitra. Sun will enter PISOES sign during Chaitra Sankranti. It is last month of Bengali calendar. Official SUMMER starts after this month. It is also celebrated as BIHU-UTSOB. Normally SUN worship is made during this time. Cleaning Houses & Business places, Bathing to animals are also performed during this time. After this day, Bengali New Year officially starts.
